Missing April
I saw April out satisfactorily by making full use of the wonderful weather we had today. And also saluting my departed, wonderful friend, Wyn. She taught me... How to bring back whiteness... She would be very proud of me.

Laughter In March 2026
Here's another brief blog. Thank goodness it is a form of writing! Hopefully I'll be working on my next Planet Pinch book (5), or back to editing my novel, Phinch And Leggett (PAL), but I don't think it will be today. Sometimes I wonder how I have managed to publish 23 books, because when I write, the back key is the one I use the most. Recently I have been thinking a lot about comedy. I used to watch a lot of tv comedy shows and dramas with my dad. He loved all sorts includ

Perception v Humour
My February blog is brief and bittersweet. A family member, very dear to me, called Valentine's Day, Doomsday Day. I found it hilariously funny. It also made me think a lot about family and friends as well as people outside my close circle of contacts. That's why I chose the photo. Any thoughts?

New Year New Ways?
I've spent most of January 2026 thinking about my writing. The editing of my novel, Phinch and Leggett, (P.A.L.) is still ongoing. I'd bought some blueberries, because they're good for us, but they tasted horrid. They're never guaranteed to taste good are they? What to do with them? T

Wordsearch Christmas Gift
This is going to be one of my gifts to my family this Christmas. Wordsearch. I'm really enjoying putting it together. Fun to make and fun to solve. If you are looking for ideas and are running out of money, why not try making one up that is all about you and yours? I recommend it.

Board Games
We play games at Christmas. Cards, board games etc. This one on the left, Cluedo, is one that I dread being taken off the shelf. I've played it at least three times and still can't get the hang of it. Is there a way to make extra notes that will help?

Book Before Christmas
I'm thinking about Christmas. 2025 has been busy. So many unexpected things came along. I had three writing projects. None have been accomplished. The one that I really must get done is Planet Pinch book, number 4. My Pinchers, there on the left, are due to return to their planet soon. But before they go, they'll be meeting Father Christmas and his reindeer. In panic mode, I am now finally working on it. The narrative is written and the paintings have begun. They will take ar
