Is it enough to say 'I've found it again?'
Some readers might say 'Yes', but for those readers who want more for their buck/pound, I'll continue.
Blue skies and sunshine and a couple of friends taking me to the garden centre is how I discovered it.
One friend split her rhubarb and gave me some. It will be ready for picking next year. The other friend and I discussed what we want to grow and what might actually be feasible. Just like with writing, when you meet with like-minded people, the ideas/seeds take fruit.
Above, the fella on the left exists because I planted him three years ago. He has thrust his way out of the ground and will remain proudly erect like this for many more weeks. As for the young ladies on the right, they surprised me by showing up in their finery barely a foot away from him. Why? Look at him. Who wouldn't...
Today I sowed the following seeds: Fennel, coriander, mooli, radishes, rocket, carrots, and I re-potted the Vietnamese coriander that I kept on my kitchen window-sill over winter. They are all nice and warm in the greenhouse.
Lots of fruitful luck to us amateur growers.
