A Book In Time...

This book, number 14, had a date

But already it is months late.

'Make it leave, get it out,'

I hear the next W.I.P. shout.

The days and nights I've spent my hours,

Using an indie author's formidable powers.

Now it's edited

And formatted

The cover looks really good

But the uploading

Won't do what it should

In two hours January will be gone

Unpublished will leave me forlorn.

What to do?

I'll raid the fridge for more food

And as necessary work through the night

Until my book's out, looking great and right.
